عَسْلٌ

عَسْلًا لَهُ means تَعْسًا لَهُ [i. e. May he stumble and fall; &c.; (see article تعس;) عَسْلًا being apparently a verbal noun, of which, in this sense, the verb is not mentioned]: (O, K:) [or may he be reviled; for] it is said that العَسْلُ signifies the reviling in blaming. (TA.)
