انحذق

It (a rope) was, or became, cut. (K, TA.) Hence the saying of the poet,
يَكَادُ مِنْهُ نِيَاطُ القَلْبِ بَنْحَذِقُ
[The suspensory of the heart is near to becoming severed in consequence thereof]. (TA.)
