حُذَاوَةٌ

and حِذَاوَةٌ and ↓ حُذْوَةٌ What falls, and is thrown away, of skins, when they are pared and cut: whence the saying in a tradition respecting the bridal furniture of Fátimeh, that one of her two beds was stuffed with حذوة of the makers of sandals. (TA.)
