حَلْقِىٌّ

[Of, or relating to, the حَلْق; faucial; guttural]. الحُرُوفُ الحَلْقِيَّةُ [The faucial, or guttural, letters] are six; namely, ء and ه, to which are appropriated the furthest part of the حَلْق; and ع and ح, to which are appropriated the middle thereof; and غ and خ, to which are appropriated the nearest part thereof.
