, (S, M, Msb, K,) and, by poetic license, اِبْيَضَضَّ, [of which see an example voce خَفَضَ, and see also 9 in article حو,] (M, TA,) verbal noun اِبْيِضَاضٌ, (S, Msb,) It was, or became, white; (S, M, Msb;) opposite of اِسْوَدَّ; (K;) as also ↓ ابياضّ, verbal noun اِبْيِيضَاضٌ;. (S;) opposite of اِسْوَادَّ; (K;) and ↓ أَبَاضَ: which ↓ last also signifies it (herbage or pasture) became white, and dried up. (M, TA.)
