غُفْرَةٌ

A cover; a thing with which another thing is covered. (S.) [Hence] one says, غَفَرَ الأَمْرَ بِغُفْرَتِهِ (S, K) and ↓ بِغَفِيرَتِهِ (K) explained above: see 1.
