جَلِيبٌ

, applied to a male slave, (A, Mgh, K,) One who is brought from one place or country or town to another [for sale]: (S, K:) or one who is brought to the country of the Muslims [for sale]: (Mgh:) plural جَلْبَى and جُلَباءُ. (K.) It is also applied [in like manner] to a woman: plural جَلْبَى and جَلَايءِبُ. (Lh, K.)
