قَايءِبَةٌ

and قَاوِبَةٌ: see قُوبٌ; the former in eight places, and the latter in one place. قَايءِبَةُ قُوبٍ means An empty egg: to such, in a tradition, Mekkeh is likened when devoid of pilgrims. (O.)
