, incorrectly written in the K مَرْأَسٌ, like مَقْعَدٌ, (TA,) i. q. مِصَكٌّ لِلرُّوءُوسِ [apparently meaning A head strong to butt, or knock, against other heads]: plural رُوءُوسٌ مَرَايءِيسُ, (K, TA,) or مَرَايءِسُ; (CK;) and ↓ رُوءُوسٌ رُوءَّسٌ [signifies the same]. (K, * TA.)
