رَفِيفٌ

Shining, or glistening. (KL. [The meaning of “ dispersed ” assigned to it by Golius as on the authority of the KL is not in my copy of that work, nor is any other meaning than that which I have given above; in which sense it is apparently a verbal noun used as an epithet: it is explained in the KL by the Pers. word درخشنده.]) One says also ثَغْرٌ رَفَافٌ [apparently رَفَّافٌ] Front teeth shining or glistening. (Har p. 314.)

Applied to a garment, or piece of cloth, (S, O,) and to trees (شَجَر), (S, O, * K,) and other things, (K,) Moistened [apparently by dew or the like, so as to be rendered glossy]. (S, O, K.)
