, (M, K,) and أُسْرُبٌّ, (M, Msb, K,) the former mentioned by Sh, (TA,) [the latter the more common,] a Pers. word, (M, TA,) arabicized, (Msb, TA,) originally أُسْرُبْ, (M,) [or أُسْرُPْ,] or أُسْرُفْ, (Msb, MF, TA,) [and in the TA سترب,] i. q. رَصَاصٌ [i. e. Lead], (M, Msb,) or انُكٌ [which signifies the same, or black lead, or tin, or pewter]. (K.)
