سَيْفَانٌ

, applied to a man, Tall and slender, (Ks, S, M, O, K,) like the سَيْف [or sword], (M,) lank in the belly: (Ks, S, O:) and with ة applied to a woman, (Ks, S, M, O, K,) meaning tall; resembling a sword-blade: (O:) or it is peculiar to women; (K;) [i. e.] according to Kh, one does not apply to a man the epithet سَيْفَانٌ.
