, verbal noun تَوْرِيبٌ, [apparently, He expressed himself respecting a thing equivocally, or ambiguously, by words objectionable in one sense, and allowable in another: so thinks IbrD:] the verbal noun is thus explained: أَنْ تُوَرِّىَ عَنِ الشَّىْءِ بِالمُعَارَضَاتِ وَالمُبَاحَاتِ.
