خِيَاطٌ

A needle; as also ↓ مِخْيَطٌ. (S, Msb, * K.) Hence the saying in the Qur'an, 7:38, حَتَّى يَلِجَ الحَبَلُ فِى سَمِّ الخِيَاطِ [Until the camel enter into the eye of the needle]. (S.)
