زَوْرَقٌ

A sort of سَفِينَة [or boat]; (S;) [a skiff i. e.] a small سَفِينَة; (K;) or a small قَارِب: plural زَوَارِقُ. (TA.) Dhu-r-Rummeh says, [referring to a she-camel,] نِعْمَتْ زَوْرَقُ البَلَدِ; [making it feminine, because] meaning نِعْمَتْ سَفِينَةُ المَفَازَةِ [Excellent, or most excellent, is the boat, or skiff, of the desert, or waterless desert.] (S, TA.)
