Also a name given by the Arabs to Saturday, (S in this article, and K in article شير,) in the Time of Ignorance: (TA in article شير:) plural [of pauc.] أَشْيُرٌ and [of mult.] شُيُرٌ and شِيرٌ: (Zj, K:) according to Zj, you may say ثَلَاثَةُ شِيرٍ [Three Saturdays, using شِير as a plural of pauc.]: so in the Tekmileh.
