A maker of sandals: whence the prov.,

مَنْ يَكُ حَذَّاءً تَجُدْ نَعْلَاهُ

[He who is a maker of sandals, his pair of sandals is good]. (TA. [Freytag (Arab. Prov. ii. 665) gives it thus: مَنْ يَكُنْ أَبُوهُ حَذَّاءً تَجُدْ نَعْلَاهُ He whose father is a maker of sandals, his pair of sandals is good.])
