صُنُوعٌ

in a sense in which it is used in a verse of Aboo-Dhu-eyb is a plural of which ISd says, “ I know not any singular thereof: ” according to Skr, it means The خُرَز [apparently either the seams or the stitch-holes] of a مَزَادَة or of an إِدَاوَة: or, as some say, the thongs used in the sewing thereof: and some say the making thereof, so that in this case it is a verbal noun (TA.)
