Ignorance, &c., (إِنْكَار,) of a thing; (TA;) opposite ofمَعْرِفَةٌ; (S, K;) and so ↓نَكَارَةٌ; synonym جَهَالَةٌ; as in the phrase فِيهِ نَكَارَةٌ [In him is ignorance]. (A.) See also نَكَرَةٌ.
