مُرْصِدٌ

[i. q. رَاصِدٌ]. One says, أَنَا لَكَ مُرْصِدٌ بِإِحْسَانِكَ حَتَّى أُكَافِيءَكَ بِهِ (tropical:) [I am watching, or waiting, for thee, on account of they beneficence, that I may requite thee for it]. (Lth, A.)

أَرْضٌ مُرْصِدَةٌ Land in which is a small quantity (رَصَدٌ, M) of herbage: (M, K:) or land which has been rained upon, and which it is hoped will produce herbage: (AHn, M, K:) and land upon which has fallen a rain such as is termed رَصْدَة; (M;) and so مَرْصُودَةٌ: (S, M:) or, according to some, one should not say مَرْصُودَةٌ nor مُرْصدَةٌ; but أَصَابَهَا رَصْدٌ and رَصَدٌ.
