سَدْوٌ

verbal noun of سَدَا. (S, M, K.) Hence, سَدَا سَدْوَ كَذا or يَسْدُو سَدْوَ كَذَا: see 1. And خَطَبَ الأَمِيرُ فَمَا زَالَ عَلَى سَدْوٍ وَاحِدٍ i. e. [The prince, or commander, recited an oration, or a harangue, &c., and ceased not to keep to] one proserhyme. (M.)
