خَطِيبٌ مِسْلَقٌ

and ↓ مِسْلَاقٌ and ↓ سَلَّاقٌ (tropical:) An eloquent speaker or orator or preacher: (S, K, TA:) because of the vehemence of his voice and his speech. (S, TA.) And لِسَانٌ مِسْلَقٌ and ↓ سَلَّاقٌ (tropical:) A sharp, cutting, or eloquent, tongue. (TA.)
