انَسُ

[More, and most, sociable, &c.]. Hence, انَسُ مِنَ الحُمَّى (assumed tropical:) [A closer companion than fever]: a saying of the Arabs, meaning, that fever scarcely ever quits the patient; as though it were sociable with him. (M, TA.)
