(A, TA.) 2.And معذب [apparently مُعَذَّب] is applied by the vulgar to Fresh ripe dates soaked with water. (TA voce مَنْقُوشٌ.)3. -A2- سَوْطٌ مُعَذَّبٌ A whip having an عِلَاقَة [or عَذَبَة] attached to it. (TA.)
