غَدْيَانُ

Eating the meal called غَدَاء: (S, K: *) feminine غَدْيَا, of the measure فَعْلَى, applied to a woman; (S;) or غَدْيَاءُ: (so in copies of the K:) they are originally with و [in the place of the ى], on the ground of preference, as is said in the M: and غَدْيَانَةٌ is mentioned by Z, as applied to a woman, coupled with عَشْيَانَةٌ.
