مَغْدًى

مَغْدَاةٌ [A place to which people go, or to which they return, in the period of the morning called
غُدْوَة; opposed to مَرَاحٌ and مَرَاحَةٌ].

[Hence] one says, مَا تَرَكَ فُلَانٌ مِنْ أَبِيهِ مَغْدًى
وَلَا مَرَاحًا, and وَلَا مَرَاحَةً
