تَسْمِيمٌ

signifies The making loops to the [girth called] وَضِين. (TA.) [You say, سمّم الوَضِينَ He made loops to the وَضِين: see the pass. particle n., below. And also He adorned the وَضِين with سُمُوم, i. e. strung cowries: see, again, the pass. particle n.]
