سُوَادِىٌّ

[or perhaps سَوَادِىٌّ, i. e. “ belonging to the Sawád of El-'Irák, ”] i. q. سِهْرِيزٌ (M) A wellknown sort of dates, (K voce سهريز,) found in abundance at El-Basrah. (TA ibid.)
