It is said in a tradition,
نَهَى أَنْ
يُضَحَّى بِالمُخَرَّمَةِ الأُذُنِ
He forbade the sacrificing as an
أُضْحِيَّة [q. v.]
the animal having the ear cut, or
cut off, or
mutilated: or
having many perforations, and
slits, in its ear. (
