تزكّى

See زَكَا.

Also He became purified; or he purified himself: (TA:) also pronounced اِزَّكَّى, aorist يَزَّكَّى. (Bd in xxxv. 19.)

And He endeavoured to attain much piety; from الزَّكَاءُ. (Bd in lxxxvii. 14.)

And He gave the poor-rate. (S.)
