زَكَوِىٌّ

[generally meaning Of, or relating to, the poor-rate] is the rel. n. of زَكَاةٌ; like as حَصَوِىٌّ is that of حَصَاةٌ; because the rel. n. reduces the word to its original form: زَكَايءِىٌّ is vulgar and wrong. (Msb.)
