الإِسْلَامُ

It is the general term for The religion of Mohammad: differing from الإِيمَانُ, as shown above: see 4.

And hence, for أَهْلُ الإِسْلَامِ, or the like,] The Muslims, collectively. (M in article بيض, &c.)
