خُرَّقٌ

A certain bird, (JK, IDrd, K,) smaller than the قُنْبُر [or lark], (JK,) that cleaves to the ground: (IDrd:) or a kind of sparrow: (K:) so says AHát, in the “ Book of Birds: ” (TA:) plural خَرَارِقُ. (JK, IDrd, K.)
