عَلَّانٌ

Ignorant: (O, K:) so in the saying, أَنَا عَلَّانٌ بِأَرْضِ كَذَا وَكَذَا [I am ignorant of such and such a land]: (O:) and so, with ة, applied to a woman: (O, K:) mentioned by Aboo-Sa'eed, as being well known: but said by Az to be unknown to him. (O.)
